This is one of the few dresses that I did not make. Instead, I pulled apart a dress made for a wedding party. The inside of the dress was noticeably larger in volume and substance. The outside withered without the inside. I dipped the two halves in wax, like candles. For the inside, like the original structure, I decided to add multiple layers, increasing it’s bulk, and visual interest. In other words, it got really messy. The outside of the dress is dipped only once in the wax, creating a sleek appearance.
